The plague of boring social media content has to stop! Thankfully there is a way of blending traditional filmmaking with modern short form videos, bringing back some raw, authentic energy. Donegal Media specialises in character led, storytelling videos that are often filmed documentary style, but that’s not all.     You are either launching something new or finally want to give your existing work the attention it deserves - either way, the goal is the same. Get seen by the people who matter. So how are you supposed to do that?

Hi there, my name is Artur and I have been making films for over 7 years now. After long time of scrutinising the online activity of businesses in the Northwest of Ireland, I realised something. It’s shocking how many of them did such a good job at making me not care. When it comes to videos, typical promotional materials I keep seeing on my feed are made of boring talking heads, internet trends that age badly and other fluff that don’t support the goals of the business. I am not just being fussy here. There simply wasn’t any emotional anchors that would make me relate, feel surprised or be inspired. Truth be told, one absolutely crucial element was missing. Storytelling. Kindra Hall once said “Whether a story is told by an executive on a podcast, a software developer at the vending machine, or a tired parent at their child’s bedside, stories can offer inspiration, comfort, and ideas for taking action.” Stories are the reason that made me start Donegal Media. I want to change completely how enterprises in the North West of Ireland advertise themselves on the web.
